Glass decorating enamels are used to decorate the surface of vitreous articles. They can also provide functional advantages such as increasing the durability and/or stability of the glass substrate. Depending on the industry, these products are referred to as glass colors, paints, inks, enamels, coatings, covercoats, basecoats, and frit.
